3.) Vitamin C – This vitamin promotes
good health in general and faster growth of the hair follicles. Many fruits and
vegetables have this vitamin, and some of them include kale, broccoli, and
potatoes.
4.) Biotin – This nutrient is found in
eggs, nuts, and legumes such as beans and lentils. Try to buy organic for this
one because biotin is particularly susceptible to pesticides.
5.) Iron – Leafy green veggies like
spinach can help boost your hair growth as well as your energy
levels. It’s a great source of calcium too!
6.) Zinc – This nutrient is found
easily in fruits and vegetables such as avocados, legumes, and whole grains.
Avoid getting it from junk food because that will probably have other nutrients
missing from your diet, which you need to grow hair long.
7.) Omega-3 fatty acids are found in flax seeds, chia seeds, and walnuts. Try to get them fresh rather than through an oil source because some nutrients will be lost if you go that route. Eating a diet rich in nutrients is no guarantee that you’ll grow your hair. Everyone is different, and some people don’t absorb nutrients as well as others, but adding these foods will make a difference!
